Born (1988) and raised in Øksnes (Vesterålen), Northern Norway. Graduated from The School for New Dance (Skolen for samtidsdans) in Oslo spring 2010, where I trained under Camilla Myhre and Caroline Wahlström Nesse. After I graduated I started to work as a dance teacher and performing artist, and today I mostly do choreography, performances and collaborating with other artists - mostly form other expressions/art forms.
My works ranges from smaller/shorter performances to larger scale productions. In the period 2013 - 2016 I created Human Constant, a trilogy based on my own life and my own story. The trilogy consists of Picture Perfect, No Visibility and When Boys Cry. A more detailed list of my works/resumé is presented here.
As a creative artist I find a fascination in those things we avoid talking about, or simply don´t like to talk about. My works are coloured by the idea of society´s silence, and how we look at each other, and how we value our individual and common existence. Movements are often detailed and brutal, and I focus both on the physical body and the existing energy.
My performances are often placed close to the observerer(s) to make communication between energies more exposed.
I´m currently based in Oslo & Lofoten Islands, Norway.
